Dates:
May 22, 2006 - July 11, 2006

Deadlines:
see Apply

PreBriefing:
There will be a mandatory PreBriefing in Columbia February 23-24. It will start Friday night. It will be a great time to get to know the rest of the team, renew your walk with God, prepare yourself for the culture we will be encountering, and learn how to launch a movement. Columbia students will provide a place for others to stay (we will figure that out when you get in town). Eat dinner before you arrive Friday (we'll have dessert together), breakfast and lunch will be provided Saturday and we will have dinner together then break. You should be free to leave by 7pm on Saturday.

Two-Week Project:
Oh yeah, its possible! If you would like to get the feel for an international project, but are not able to attend the seven-week project, this is a great opportunity to experience East Asia first-hand. You will play a HUGE role in the project as you help establish relationships with students that will be followed up with all summer. The project will have the same briefing and travel info for heading over. The dates for the Two-Week Project are May 22-June 6.

Cost:
Each student on summer project has the opportunity to grow their faith by trusting God to provide the financial resources needed to attend summer project. God will provide for you to serve Him this summer! We are committed to giving you the resources you need to prepare you for and carry out your support raising process once you are accepted to a summer project.

The support goal for the seven-week project is $4,100.
The support goal for the two-week project is $2,600. (both of these numbers are approximates and are subject to change)

Transportation:
The cost of the flight to and from Horizons and all travel during project will be figured into the project support that you will raise. You will be responsible for transportation to the Briefing on May 22nd in Chicago, and returning July 11 from Chicago.

...even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them... Nehemiah 1:9
